Juliet is notably one of the fastest-growing Middle Tennessee suburbs during the last 20 years. Between 2000 and 2010, the area experienced a 98% population increase. It has consistently ranked among the state’s top 10 fastest-growing cities and is often labeled as a “boomtown” by real estate groups.

A Great Location

Mt. Juliet is uniquely located between two of the area’s top recreational lakes: J. Percy Priest Lake, located south of the city, and Old Hickory Lake to the north. Access to these reservoirs offers residents opportunities for boating, fishing, and a wide range of outdoor recreation. In fact, Mt. Juliet’s official slogan is: “The City Between the Lakes.” Additionally, residents have a short drive to both Long Hunter State Park and Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
