Moving to a new home, whether across the country or across town, is no easy task. As the owner and publisher of The New Residents’ Guide and website, I totally understand.
Having moved multiple times with my family to different cities and states, I know how challenging it is to find the perfect home, packing, and unpacking. Then there’s locating businesses and professional services for you and your family, enrolling kids in school, starting a new job, and even navigating new roadways… it’s all very stressful. Without question, moving is exhausting! Honestly, I get tired just thinking about it!!
The New Residents’ Guide and website has you covered. Here you’ll find tips and reminders to help you get settled into your new home, articles about Tennessee, and the Middle Tennessee region—specifically Williamson and Maury Counties plus Rutherford County—and each city and town located there. We publish two Guides, one that covers the Williamson County and Maury County communities and a second edition that provides an overview of Rutherford County.
I hope the Guides and website articles help you connect to the community and gives you a sense of place in your new hometown.
Congratulations! You have chosen a beautiful and prosperous area to live.
Welcome home!
